Power, a global leader in data analytics and consumer intelligence, has acquired ZappyRide, an electric vehicle (EV) data company that provides white-label software and tools for automotive original equipment manufacturers, electric utilities, and other green technology stakeholders. The acquisition is part of J.D. Power's E-Vision initiative, which aims to leverage the company's industry-leading EV data, analytics, insights and solutions to empower EV transformation for manufacturers, utilities, and consumers. ZappyRide's software and solutions are designed to help OEMs, utilities, government agencies, fleet companies, and rideshare companies navigate the fast-moving EV landscape.
